What is a Murder Mystery Party?
Murder Mystery Parties are increasing in popularity, and are a great way of bringing together all of your party guests or colleagues at a company outing into a shared experience with a murder mystery theme!
Murder mystery party games normally come in either downloadable or boxed sets. And contain all the information for you to prepare and set up an interactive murder and/or mystery at your party. There will be a main mystery or murder as the central story with possibly side plots or games that run alongside the main mysterious event. You will need to assign your guests to characters within the mystery. You can choose mystery party games that are either scripted or non-scripted, but either way there will be character info for you to send to your guests before the party.
At the party or event itself, you and guests will have tasks to perform such as talking to the other guests/characters to find out certain information. A mysterious or murder will take place, and as the characters play their parts the plot unfolds and during the course of the evening as information, clues and evidence comes to light. Your guests will be able to unravel the main and mini plots of the mystery.
